In general in a data base we have 3 types of views.
1 Table view : this is like a spreadsheet. one can view many records at the same time. All fields of a record at the same time.
There are two views : Table design view and Data sheet view. These are useful in design process.
2. Form view. In this one record is viewed at a time. All the fields of a record are displayed in a visually pleasing accessible and modifiable manner.
3 List view : this is the mixture of Form view and Table view. Some records are displayed, with most important fields of each record being displayed. This is useful for a large data base, to go through the data base for some purpose.
