Btw Question is-- Why we need Democracy..?​

First of all, understand what Democracy actually is.....

Democracy is a type of Government in which the power lies into the hands of the common citizens. In this type of Government the people themselves choose their leaders.

India is an example of a democratic country. Here, we have voting for our respective leaders, the one with maximum votes is our leader.

Now the point comes......

Why we need Democracy ???

Well, according to me a democratic country with a vast population (India) should actually avoid Democracy or should have clean,fair and transparent elections. I mean to say that everybody is corrupt here !! Even if Candidate A gets more votes than Candidate B but just because Candidate B invested a large amount of money into the pockets of the officials, he will win.

If the democracy is a fair one, it should be promoted as it gives everybody an equal treatment.

Basically our country need democracy for the proper functioning of the government. Because democracy itself says that it is a system of government in which the citizens power directly or elect representatives from among themselves to form a governing body, such as a parliament.
