u are given two test tubes , one of which contains an acidic solution and the other contains a basic solution.If u are given only blue litmus paper ,how will u identify the unknown contents of each tube?Do not taste the contents of any of the test tubes!

If the blue litmus turns red or pink in one of the solutions ,then the solution is acidic in nature. If the blue litmus paper undergoes no colour change, then the solution is basic in nature.
