My dear parents,
Hope this letter finds you in the best of health and happiness. I am missing you a lot. Yesterday I was sitting alone in the room when Ashish came to meet me. I know you have warned me many times and told me not to talk to him or go out with him. But I was feeling very lonely and bored when he came.
So I let him come inside the house. He asked me to go with him. Some more children from the neighbourhood joined us. We went to Bhatnagar's house and started plucking the ripe mangoes hanging on the trees. Suddenly Bhatnagar, who had been out of station and was not expected to return for one more week, came back to his house.
Unfortunately we were caught red handed. He asked us to work on his garden as a punishment. I am very sorry I did not obey you and bring a bad name to the family. Next time I will not make this mistake. Please forgive me.
