Well if your friend quarrels without any reason then try to explain him with the help of examples. Explain him by different instances, and make him empathize the situation with those kids or small students........ If you are his true friend then tell him, even scold him if he don't understands..... Your friend might be doing this to show his seniority over those junior students. It often happens when a senior student has a feeling of being superior and stronger than others and thus he try to rule over small students...... You should know, that even a small ant can appear harmful for a big elephant , if one day , any small child took revenge for your friend's non acceptable nature, then it can be harmful as well as juniors learn from seniors, and if complaint is made, then ur friend can even be suspended , so try to explain him the drawbacks of such a bad and rude behaviour...... As small quarrels only lead to big accidents thus a min. quarrel can create problems for you.

I will try to convince my friend by telling him how unreasonable it is to bother other children. I will give him a scenario where he will be treated the same way as he treats them. I will try to show him how bad people feel when someone bothers them in this way. I will try to make him respect other people by making him understand the importance of respect which every other person requires.

The reason for his behavior can be that he is maybe never taught or stopped by his parents to not bother other kids like this, maybe he has a habit of doing this at home with his siblings or cousins so he was never asked not to do this as it is not very decent.
