Step-by-step explanation:

Given  Puneet covers 50 cm in one step. If he takes 680 steps. Find the total distance in metres covered by him.  If the perimeter of the square field is equal to be  distance. What is the length of 1 side of the field ?

According to question 1 step = 50 cm

                                1 step = 0.5 m

         Therefore 680 steps will be 0.5 x 680

= 340 m is the total distance covered by him.

We know that perimeter of a square = 4 a

Now Perimeter of square field = distance

                                         4 a = 340

                              So a = 85 m

Therefore the length of 1 side of the field is 85 m
