 \sqrt{u}  +  \sqrt{v}   -  \sqrt{w}  = 0 \\  \sqrt{u}  +  \sqrt{v}  =  \sqrt{w}  \\ squaring \: both \: sides \\ u + v = w \\ u + v - w = 0
