One Monday morning, I had gone to the bus stand to wait for my school bus. As I was a bit early that morning, I had time so I began watching and observing the people walking by. One such incident took me by surprise.
One old man, not a beggar though, was walking towards the bus stand. He must have been around 90 or more of age and was already bent in posture. Since it was also rather cold, I wondered why he was out at this time. After what may have been ages for him to reach the bus stop, he sat down on the seat and gave a relieved expression. I asked him why he was out so early in the morning and then he said that he was waiting for his grandson's school bus that will go through this bus stand. And before I could ask him another question, he told me the boy lived in another part of the city and that he used to wave him goodbye from the bus stand every Monday. I was really impressed and touched by the lovely gesture. If only we all have such good relationships with our family members. It also made me realize how our grandparents love us and that we also need to look out for them. That was an amazing encounter that will stay with me for a very long time.
