Hey Mate !
Here is your solution :
Let the unit digit is ' y '.
And , tens digit is ' x '.
=> Sum of digits = 10
=> x + y = 10 ----------- ( 1 )
So,
Number = 10x + y.
It is given that if 18 is subtracted from number then the digits in new number is equal.i.e. ten's place digit is equal to one's place digit.
Let , the digit in new number be z.
New number = 10z + z = 11z.
A/Q,
=> 10x + y - 18 = 11z
=> 9x + x + y - 18 = 11z
Substituting the value of ( 1 ),
=> 9x + 10 - 18 = 11z
=> 9x - 8 = 11z
=> ( 9x - 8 ) / 11 = z
Here,
We have to find such a value of 'x' ( 1 to 9 )that when it is multiplied by 9 and subtracted by 8 then divided by 11 should be positive and 1 digit number.
Now,
x can't be 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9 as if x will be one of these numbers then z will be a fraction that's not possible.
Hence, x = 7
By substituting the value of x in ( 1 ),
=> x + y = 10
=> 7 + y = 10
=> y = 10 - 7
•°• y = 3
Number = 10x + y
= 10 × 7 + 3
= 70 + 3
= 73.
Hence, the required number is 73.

Let the digit at ten's place be x and the digit at one's place be y.
Therefore the original number = 10x + y ----- (1)
Given that sum of digits of a two digit number is 10.
= > x + y = 10.
= > y = 10 - x ------ (2)
Given that if 18 is subtracted from its digits in the resulting number will be =.
= > 10x + y - 18 = 10x - 20 + y + 2
= > 10x + y = 10(x - 2) + (y + 2).
= > x - 2 = y + 2
= > x - 2 = 10 - x + 2
= > x - 2 = 12 - x
= > 2x = 14
= > x = 7.
Substitute x = 7 in (2), we get
= > y = 10 - 7
= > y = 3.
Substitute x and y in (1), we get
= >10x + y
= > 10(7) + 3
= > 70 + 3
= > 73.
Therefore the number is 73.
