Solution:-

Let ,

R 1 = R 2 =R

Two resistors R 1 and R 2 each having a resistance of R are connected in parallel combination

Equivalent resistance of n no  resistors connected in parallel combination is given by the formula ,

\bigstar\boxed{\mathtt{ \dfrac{1}{R_p} =  \dfrac{1}{R_1} +  \dfrac{1}{R_2} +.....+  \dfrac{1}{R_n} }}

hence ,

\implies\mathtt{ \dfrac{1}{R_p} =  \dfrac{1}{R} +  \dfrac{1}{R}}

\implies\mathtt{ \dfrac{1}{R_p} =  \dfrac{1+1}{R} }

\implies\mathtt{ \dfrac{1}{R_p} =  \dfrac{2}{R} }

\implies\mathtt{ R_p=  \dfrac{R}{2} }

If  2 resistors having same resistance connected in parallel connection. Then resultant  resistance  half  individual resistances.
