A natural disaster such as a flood, earthquake, or hurricane causes great damage or loss of life. The Corona virus is similar but not a calamity. It (Corona virus) has caused damage and harm but it has not destroyed homes or places like an earthquake. People have lost their lives because of the virus not because of drowning in a flood etc.
A pandemic is a disease that spreads over a whole country or the whole world. The Corona virus is a pandemic and natural disasters so not spread like a pandemic. A pandemic is a disease and so is Corona virus. So I strongly disagree with calling it a natural disaster.
