Step-by-step explanation:

(i)Radhika scores mark=20

Correct answers=12

Scores of 12 correct answers=12 X 3 =36

Questions she has attempted=(36-20)/2

(As 2 Mark's cut off for each wrong answer)

=(36-20)/2

=16/2

=8

*12 correct answers + 8 wrong answers = 20 attempted questions.*

(ii)Mohini got correct answers = 7

Marks of corrected questions = 7 X 3 = 21

But got Marks = 5

Difference = 21-5 = 16

Marks cut off for each wrong questions = 2

Total no. of wrong questions = 16/2 = 8

*She has attempted 8 wrong answers.*
