uestions
1. If one mole of carbon atoms
weighs 12 grams, what is the
mass (in grams) of 1 atom of
carbon?
2. Which has more number of
atoms, 100 grams of sodium or
100 grams of iron (given, atornic
mass of Na = 23 u, Fe = 56 u)?

can you all please help me with these questions ☺️

Explanation:

if 1 moles of c weight 12 grams means 6.022*10^23 atoms weight 12 grams that's the definition of a mole

so 1 atom will weight

12/6.022*10^23=1.992 * 10^-23

if it is simply for a element the compound having more moles will have more atoms

no of moles of na =100/23

no of moles of fe=100/56

so clearly na has more.moles so it has more number of atoms ...
