2) What is the area of BCQ ​

In Equaliteral ∆APB we have,

→ AB = 8 cm

so,

→ Area (∆APB) = (√3/4) * (side)²

→ Area (∆APB) = (√3/4) * (8)²

→ Area (∆APB) = (√3/4) * 8 * 8

→ Area (∆APB) = √3 * 2 * 8

→ Area (∆APB) = 16√3 cm² (Ans.)

Similarly,

In Equaliteral ∆BCQ we have,

→ BC = 6 cm

so,

→ Area (∆BCQ) = (√3/4) * (side)²

→ Area (∆BCQ) = (√3/4) * (6)²

→ Area (∆BCQ) = (√3/4) * 6 * 6

→ Area (∆BCQ) = √3 * 3 * 3

→ Area (∆BCQ) = 9√3 cm² (Ans.)
