History is a tale of what has happened or may have happened in past. It
gives vivid picture of changing patterns in society. No two periods are alike in
history. Since long historians have been debating on the dates of history – when
were rulers crowned and when were battles fought. History was become
synonymous with dates. History is definitely about changes that have taken
place over a period of time. It identifies how things were in the past and how
hey have changed in the present.
Most people take things for granted and do not want to conside
istorical questions we ponder over. We do not take the trouble to kno
hether what we see today was always there or not. At times, however, we a
