Answer :

GiveN :

  • x = 1
  • y = 2
  • z = 5

FinD :

( i ) 3x - 2y + 4z

( ii ) x²+ y² + z²

( iii ) 2x² y - 3y² + z²

SolutioN :

( i ) 3x - 2y + 4z

= 3 × 1 - 2 × 2 + 4 × 5

= 3 - 4 + 20

= 23 - 4

= 19

( ii ) x²+ y² + z²

= ( 1 )² + ( 2 )² + ( 5 )²

= 1 + 4 + 25

= 26 + 4

= 30

( iii ) 2x² y - 3y² + z²

= 2( 1 )²2 - 3( 2 )² + ( 5 )²

= 4 - 12 + 25

= 29 - 12

= 17
