Hi,,
Uncle Podger once undertook a common, simple household task.
He wanted to hang a picture on the wall. Unfortunately, he took forever and went through many tools and strategies to do this. He made the act more complex than it needed to be.
He yelled at people around him for help, but he didn’t really want them to interfere. And he caused more damage and raised more additional difficulties than he needed to.
He was stubborn enough to think that he knew quite well how to do this task. The reality was that he didn’t know how to do it at all.
He did such a terrible job that eventually someone else had to intervene in order for the job to get done, hours later.
And yet he took pride in his work and thought that he had made a good effort all along with.
Uncle Podger is the kind of person who exasperates everyone around him. They all know his capabilities, even if he doesn’t. He may mean well, and he may mean to be helpful, but all he will do is to cause more problems.
Hope it will help you.!!!

uncle podger was an old man who volunteered to do all the work but then loaded it onto someone else's back. once he volunteered to hang the picture that had just arrived. he took off his coat , sent a girl to get the nail and then sent another person after her to tell her what size to get . then he took a hammer and a nail and measured the distance. then he misplaced the nail. and when the nail was found he misplaced the hammer . after the hammer was found he couldn't find the mark he made on the wall where the nail was to be inserted after that he remeasures the point and in the process he fell down on the piano. when everything was found he tried to insert the nail in the wall with the hammer but instead of the nail he hit his thumb and drops the hammer on someone's leg and the picture frame falls too. then he sits on the chair and shouts on everyone for finding his coat in whose pocket he had kept the handkerchief. later it's found that he had been sitting an the coat. in the mean while the glass has been repaired and the wound tied. the uncle potter stands up on the chair where one person is handing him the nail while the other the hammer and the other the picture. one of the members of the room is holding the chair. now he slams the hammer on the nail , the nail going straight into the wall and half the hammer after it knocking out a lot of plaster. the picture was the hung in a very crooked and dangerous position
