In order to deal with espionage problems and to win the war at any coast, President Franklin D. Roosevelt ordered the Secretary of war to prescribe some areas as Military zones under the Executive Order 9066. Thousands of Japanese Americans, German Americans and Italian Americans were evacuated from pacific coast and many other parts of America including California. The order has been issued by President FDR on February 19, 1942.
