Under normal circumstances, a film camera record images at 24 frames per second. Normally, a movie film is also projected at 24 frames per second. Since the projection speed and the recording speed are the same, images on the screen appear to move at their ‘actual speed’.
What can we say about each of the frame that is recorded in a movie film?
A)Each frame is a still picture
B)Each frame is a moving picture
C)Each frame appears after 24 seconds.
D)Each frame captures 1/24 of the image seen through the camera.

Answer:

Frame rate (expressed in frames per second or FPS) is the frequency (rate) at which consecutive images called frames appear on a display. The term applies equally to film and video cameras, computer graphics, and motion capture systems. Frame rate may also be called the frame frequency, and be expressed in hertz.
