Under normal conditions, the rate of breathing of a normal person is 15 to 18 times per minute. During vigorous exercise, the rate of breathing increases by about 20 to 25 times per minute. Reason: During vigorous exercise, the demand of oxygen increasesto release more energy for extra work.

When our body does exercises ,it consumes the energy of our body .Due to this our body's energy becomes zero . To, restore this energy our body breathes very speedily to take in more and more oxygen
