The volume in which 1 M potassium hydroxide and 0.5 M sulphuric acid is added must be 50 mL : 50 mL respectively.

Under similar conditions we need 50 mL of 1 M KOH and 0.5 M H2SO4 solutions separately. When these solutions are allowed to mix , they will form a total volume of 100 ml that will produce the most astounding rise in temperature .
