Hey mate here is your answer

By changing their conditions of pressure and temperature ,substance can be made to exist as solid, liquid or a gas.

A solid by heating usually changes into a liquid on further heating changes into gas.

Just like that water can be exist in 3 forms (solid, liquid and gas)

I hope this would help you

Answer: When their force of attraction or intermolecular force getting weak.

Explanation: Let take an example of solid state :-

Ice - It is the solid form of water i.e its atoms are closely packed as compare to other two state of water , means force of attraction is high.

When we heat ice , that heat is used to break the force between atoms of water i.e intermolecular force or force of attraction.

Then due to heat their atoms get moderate loose , and you knows whose atoms are moderate loose is called as liquid state , means liquid state of water

When we give it more heat then its atom get more loose , and  whose atoms are more loose is called as gasseous state.

In this condition solid , liquid and gas change their state.
