Under what condition,the average speed is equal to the magnitude of average velocity.Justify your answer.

The condition for this to be true is: Linear motion.
During Linear Motion i.e. Motion along a straight line, the total displacement equals to the total distance covered. Hence, average velocity will be equal to average speed.
