Under what conditions does the fourth state of matter, PLASMA exist??

Under ordinary terrestrial conditions the plasma state of matter is quite rare and unusual. But in the universe cold solid bodies such as our earth appear to be a rare exception. Most of the matter in the universe is ionized(charged atoms), i.e., it exists in the plasma state.

Plasma is found in stars and sun. Stars and Sun shine just because of plasma. And it is also said that plasma is the mostly found state in the universe.
