When the body moves in a straight line, the distance covered by the body is equal to the magnitude of displacement.

Magnitude of Displacement is equal to displacement ONLY when particle is moving along a axis (executing one-dimensional motion) and that too WITHOUT changing the direction. iss situation ko yad rkhna ki ye jo motion h one dimnentional  motion h so ek hi axis pr ho ga
