Circle

If two circle are said to be congruent, then these circles have same measurements. The measurements may be radius, diameter and circumference. All circles are similar, but all circles are not congruent. Circle with equal radius, or equal diameter or equal circumference re congruent.

If two  squares are said to be congruent  then these squares have equal sides.All squares are similar. If sides are equal then only we can say that squares are congruent.

Line segment

Two line segments are said to be congruent, if two lines have equal length.
