Adjectives are words which describe noun in a more specific way. It also describes pronoun in a sentence or phrase. For example- ‘’wise’’ it is adjective and it describes a quality of man which is a noun. ‘’little’’ is a quantitative adjective which describes a quantity of noun.

Word ‘’patience’’ is an adjective and it can be a noun also. We can conclude that adjectives are noun modifier.
