Example: When she heard the news, she rejoiced happily.
I have a party tonight.
Adverbs are of 4 kinds.
- Adverb of Manner: Happily, Angrily, Loudly, Rudely, Sadly etc.
- Adverb of Time: Tomorrow, Yesterday, Soon, Again, Late etc.
- Adverb of Place: Here, There, Near, Outside, Inside, Top etc.
- Adverb of Frequency: Frequently, Usually, Daily, Seldom etc.
It is too hot today.
In the above sentence, today is the adverb and it is an adverb of time.
