Bandhan, Onam and Dushera are our important festivals. Eid is celebrated at the end of
the holy month of Ramzan. Ramzan is a very pious period. It is a month of purification.
It is a month of fasting and prayer. Eid is a festival of joy.
People eat 'sewai' and other sweets on this day, it is a festival of unity,
brotherhood, loves cooperation, sympathy and communal harmony.
Children wear newe clothes. They go to Eidgah with their elders. People greet and hug
one another on Eid.
