Good morning everyone present here. I am going to express my views on ‘Uniform brings uniformity’. Robert Baden-Powell, the famous British general and founder of the modern Scouting movement very aptly said: “The uniform makes for brotherhood, since when universally adopted it covers up all differences of class and country.” It is true that uniform dress code banishes all differences of class, colour, creed, religion, and the differences between the poor and the rich.

Schools are centers of learning and knowledge where children belonging to different ethnicities, cultures, religions, minorities, beliefs study together. Uniform dress code encourages equality among all. They make everyone feel look the same thus discouraging unnecessary distractions.

If there were no dress codes at school, children would come attired differently; they would unnecessarily fret and fuss about wearing stylish trendy clothes every day. The schools would become more as centers of fashion than the centers of knowledge, education and skills learning. The children belonging to less affluent families would feel small on account of their scanty wardrobes.

Besides, uniform dress code makes you more disciplined. Often high morals and ethics are associated with uniform dress code. For example, a cop feels more responsible and under certain obligations in uniform than in the normal attire. Similarly, the uniform dress code always reminds the students of their responsibilities and obligations as students. They have to remain within the limits of righteous conduct. For example, while in school uniform, they might be tempted to bunk the school; but the school uniform won’t encourage it. The fear of being spotted from distance might discourage them from doing so.

Thus we see there are many benefits of uniform dress codes at school.

Uniformity of clothing is accepted to prompt uniform conduct, and uniform conduct should prompt similarity of thought.

In Britain, progressive governments have clearly imagined that kids learn better on the off chance that they are obliged to wear a uniform. Schools are praised for their request of points of interest of uniform. It is by all accounts thought to be essential to influence youngsters to dress like each other than it is to enable them to be agreeable and wear what suits them.

There are three reasons given for urging schools to have formally dressed camouflage contrasts in family pay, uniforms keep youngsters from being teased on the grounds that they are wearing unfashionable garments and uniforms give kids a feeling of pride in their schools.

Uniform forestall kids being teased for wearing unfashionable garments. I have heard this contention from schoolchildren, and it is surely genuine that where there is a school uniform one explanation behind teasing has been evacuated, however, the inclination to tease has not been handled. You may at present get teasing for wearing glasses, or have a stammer, or being timid and not having the capacity to defend yourself.

It is difficult to evacuate each conceivable purpose behind teasing, yet the imperative thing isn't to expel the reasons for teasing, however, to expel the desire to tease. This is far less demanding when the connection amongst kids and staff is casual and agreeable, and disagreeable teasing is totally strange.
