Answer:

Acceleration is usually meant to be the change in velocity with respect to time.

It is a misconception that as uniform circular motion is 'uniform' there must not be any change.

However, the uniform circular motion is an accelerated motion because as it moves along a circular path where its speed remains constant but the direction of the body changes at every point of time.

As the direction changes the velocity, of the body also changes.  

Therefore uniform accelerated motion is an accelerated motion.
