When the body moves in a circular path with uniform speed, it is called uniform circular motion.
It is possible for a body to move in a circular path with uniform speed as long as it is traveling equal distances in equal interval of time, but the velocity cannot be uniform since the direction of motion is continually changing.

Hence due to the change in velocity, the motion is an accelerated motion, circular accelerated motion. Though, the speed may not change but direction will change.

uniform circular motion is known as accelerated motion because the velocity changes in a uniform way and is accelerated uniformly. the body is accelerated when it is moving with a uniform velocity . and the direction also changes

hope it helps uu
