School uniforms have been said to help academic performance, improve attendance, put an end to gang behavior and violence, increase student self-confidence, provide a feeling of belonging among the students, decrease clothing costs, improve classroom behavior and provide a greater school recognition.

But what about individuality? We have been taught since kindergarten that everyone is different and to respect differences. I see that uniforms are a way to make everyone the same. We've also been taught since kindergarten how boring it would be if everyone looked alike, walked alike and dressed alike. Dress and appearance are a way of expressing oneself, like talking. The First Amendment has been extended from political speeches to nonverbal acts of communication. Nonverbal communication would include dress and appearance since they can tell what a person is like. Wouldn't it be a violation of the First Amendment to force upon school uniforms? Taking away a form of communication, or limiting it? A person's individuality is something that is very important to that individual - why put a restraint on it?

hope it helps you

u may start by telling meaning - t
uniform is a coat given by a institutions to a candidate who studies in tht institution...
after it you can tell importance - meant for equality so that all students should look same. discrimination on the basis of caste could be removed.... third u can tell-why uniform... so that history could not be faced again by those small children...(discrimination....)
