Alike the freedom movements of other countries, India's freedom movements were unique.
I would like to mention some unique features of India's freedom movements.
★ India followed a path of nonviolence ( Ahimsa ) which was put forward by our respected Mahatma Gandhi . Through nonviolent methods we achieved freedom.

★ Alike other countries, thousands of Indians risked their lives just for the welfare of whole India.

★ Many failed , but those Indians stood firmly against discriminatory and ferocious methods followed by British and fought till their last breathe.

★ Apart from just achieving freedom from British, people of India got rid of some inhuman activities that had been followed from ancient times onwards. Like, untouchability , caste discriminations etc..

★ Many of the freedom struggle where able to put forward a clear evidence that every humans are alike and cannot be treated unequally based on caste or religion.

★ India's freedom struggle managed to induced strong patriotism among the people and that made India as an Independent country from August 15th 1947 onwards

↬The Non Cooperation Movement was one of the major events in Indias freedom struggle against the British.

↬ This movement was led by Mahatma Gandhi, with the active support of the Indian National Congress.

↬The Non Cooperation Movement was launched on 1st August, 1920.

↬ It involved a passive resistance, without resorting to violence, to the British rule by means of surrendering everything related to the government.

↬Councils, courts, schools and other institutions established by the British government were boycotted.

↬Titles were surrendered and important posts in the government were resigned.

↬Even the foreign cloths were discarded.
