kW is the unit of POWER
1 kW equals to 1000watt
Whereas kWh is the unit of WORK
As,
power =  \frac{work}{time}  \\ so \: work \:  = power \:  \times time
So, unit of work is unit of POWER * Unit of Time
That is kW × hour which equals to kWh
And, 1kWh = 3.6 × 10 ^6 Joules
