Unit of speed is derived unit. Why? The length of a brick is 30 cm, breadth is 20 cm and volume 9000 cubic cm. Find the height of the brick.

Answer:

The volume is length×breadth×height.

Presumably you know the breadth, but you’ve left it out by accident; and presumably the volume’s 9000 cm³, because you can’t measure volume in cm.

Height is volume/(length×breadth), or in your case 9000/(30×b), where b is the breadth.

Because I’m nice, I’ll do part of the sum for you; it’s 300/b.

You could find where you’ve put your breadth, stuff it into the formula and use your calculator. I hope you make a speedy recovery from your shortness of breadth.
