All countries of the world follow either a federal system or a unitary system. China is a country with a unitary system. Establishing special administrative regions under such a system falls within the principle of "one country, two systems" and does not contradict the unitary system.

➡️All countries of the world follow either a federal system or unitary system.
➡️A unitary state is a state governed as a single power in which the central government is ultimately supreme and any administrative divisions (sub-national units) exercise only the powers that the central government chooses to delegate.
➡️The majority of states in the world have a unitary system of government.
