The unit of work and Energy are the same.

This is because Energy is the defined as the capability to do work.

Unit of Energy = unit of (mass×force×displacement) = Joules or Kg.m^2/s^2 ..............(I)

Unit of Work = unit of (Force×Displacement) = Kg.m^2/s^2 ..................(II)

Thus, from (I) and (II) it is clear that unit of Work and Energy are same.
