As onion cell is a plant cell it has a large vacuole and this vacuole pushes the nucleus to a side making it accentric nucleus.

On the other side, cheek is an animal cell. It has small vacuoles. Hence, nucleus stays in the centre and other organelles around it.

<b>Cheek cells are animal cells so they hardly contain any vacuoles and if any vacuoles are present then they are very small and hence cover small area in the cell. Due to this reason, nucleus takes it place in the centre of the cell and maintains it.<b>

On the other hand in onion cell which is actually a plant cell, contains large vacuoles which covers most part of the cytoplasm. Due to this reason nucleus is not able to get it's place in the centre of the cell as that part is occupied by the large vacuole. So, it gets shifted on one side of the cell.
