Unlike Vietnam or India, Nigeria did not have to struggle so hard for freedom. Can you find some explanations for this?

Answer:
After the second world war decolonisation all around the world had increased by a large number since many of the colonies wanted independence from the foreign rulers.
UK along with France had large colonies all over the world and even though they did experience nationalism on a large scale they also had to face a massive colonial loss during the same period of time.
Even when Nigeria and India had faced colonisation and were a victim of the divide and rule policy, presently speaking India has gained quite a name for itself due to political stability that exists here, however the same cannot be said for Nigeria.
