Unpaid, Jet pilots to go on strike from April TIMES NEWS NETWORK New Delhi: Jet Airways pilots have threatened to strike work from April 1. The embattled airlines has not paid salary to its pilots, aircraft maintenance engineers and senior management for the past four months. It has also not got any interim funding from lenders.

The strike may be averted only if a firm commitment on the payment of salaries to the pilots is made in the next two days and some dues are immediately​ cleared ,say sources.

"A part of the expected interim funding from SBI was supposed to be actioned on March 29. The fund transfer has not taken place, hence there is no update on salary payment," the National Aviator "Guild (NAG), the union of Jet Airways' Indian pilots, wrote to its members late on Friday Earlier in the day, a source said that around 200 pilots had writ ten individually to Jet CEO Vi nay dube, threatening to go on leave of absence',and they we- re also planning to take legal recourse over non payment of salary.We are in constant dialogue with pilots to ensure the current operating schedule is maintained," a Jet spokesperson​ said.
