One stereotype that I've noticed around me has been that girls don't need jobs and therefore do not need to study subjects like maths and science. This stereotype has had a huge impact on the structure of our society. Women and girls don't get the support they need to become scientists and engineers and at the same time, boys are forced into science and maths even if they don't want those careers. This needs to be stopped with the full cooperation of the government and the public.
