also, A and B can do the same work in 12 and 10 days respectively,

therefore work done by A and B in 1 day is 1/12 and 1/10 respectively.

let C take x days to complete the work alone, that is he does 1/x work in 1 day

summing up our conclusion :

work done by (A+B+C) in 1 day = 1/4

1/12 + 1/10 + 1/x = 1/4

1/x = 1/15

therefore C takes 15 days to complete the work alone
