Still, like the olden days, untouchability is prevalent in india. Though unlike earlier, there is no discrimination of caste, but untouchability is still there. Today, a hindu hesitates to take or eat things, touched by a muslim. This is religious untouchability. Also, high status people often do not like if they are been touched by any lower category. This is called social untouchability.
