Uplift and weathering are two of the processes that shape the features of the Earth. How are they different and how are they similar?

similarity is that both uplift and weathering change the rocks of earth and the difference is that uplift process move the rocks to the surface and in weathering process rocks undergoes several changes in form through weather like wind,ice,heat etc.
