  • UPSC- UNION PUPLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

FOR THIS EXAM YOU HAVE TO COVER ALL CURRENT AFFAIRS...they are the backbone of this exam

next all HISTORY,GEOGRAPHY AND POLITY PART

being a exam for dynamic service as IAS,IFS,IPSand others.....they demand the candidate to know their mother land from top to bottom

its past and its 'will be' future aspects

Science and technology and Economics is equally important. In Prelims GS1 comprise of all the aspects whether its POLITY , GEOGRAPHY, HISTORY OR SCI N TECH OR ECONOMICS....it have mainly current affairs.

MATHS,REASONING IS EQUALLY IMPORTANT FOR CSAT which is second paper of prelims.

As in mains GS1 candidates have to deal with Geography and History, GS2 polity, GS3 Economics and GS4 Ethics and Aptitude.

  • for begginers its suggested that...they must develop newspaper reading and notes making of NCERT text books from 6th to 12th.....same i am doing

  • then slowly coming to standard books like M.Lakshmikant or Bipin Chandra etc...they are so many.

  • it is suggested that....one must read 'single book 10 times rather than 10 books single time'
  • note making should be as brief as you just take one look of all topic before exam.

hope this help....if any query uh can ask in my question section
