Urban Development Authority of a town auctioned plots in a land for

making new residential areas, with a condition that each house has to

leave a particular part of their plot for the plantation. The total area of the

land given is represented by 6x3

+ 17x2

– 4x + 35. The number of plots

allotted is 2x + 7 and area of each plot is 3x2

– 5x + 3. Find the area

reserved in each plot for plantation and the total area of land reserved for

the plots.

Answer:

Total area of land = 6x3+17x−4x+35

Number of plots alloted= 2x+7

Area of each plot=3x2−5x+3

So When we will multiply Area of each plot with Number of plot alloted it should be equal to total area of land,

 (3x2−5x+3)( 2x+7)

=6x3+21x2−10x2−35x+6x+21

=6x3+11x2−29x+21

But this is not equal to total area so kindly

 recheck the question.
