Urban landlords added woes and plight to the farmer because

● They used to give their lands to poor farmers to till at high rates which are more than the normal rates which is becoming very difficult to pay for the poor farmers

●They make farmers do their work and till their land which would be better known as Vetti or forced labour without paying them even a single penny

●Land Lords demand the poor farmers to give some percentage of their harvest to them which the farmer had to do otherwise landlords would punish him
