- Hypotenuse - 10cm
- Base -6cm
- Perpendicular - x
By using Pythagoras theorem , we can find its perpendicular ie the height of the wall
H = P + B
10 cm² = X² + 6cm².
X² = 10cm² - 6cm²
X² = 100 cm - 36 cm
X²= 64 cm
X²= 8cm²
"²" will be cut , thus
X = 8 cm
the height of the ladder = 8 cm
