let the oxidation no. of Co be x ...
we know that ,
oxidation no. of en = 0
, oxidation no. of H2O = 0
And , oxidation no. of CN = (-1)
so... x + 0 + 0 + (-1) = +2
=> x = 2+1
=> x = +3
hence , oxidation no. of cobalt in given complex compound is +3 ....
